I think too much of the conversation (including from a few YouTubers in the financial space I watch occasionally) focuses too much on how hard it can be to stay out of debt and build wealth. While I'm not denying that building wealth is a slow process that requires plenty of sacrifice, I am generally of the belief that it is attainable on a smaller scale by steering clear of some of these financial pitfalls.
