From laundry detergent to soft scrub, here’s how I make everything myself.

I ditched the store-bought cleaning supplies a few years ago as a quick way to pad my budget while I saved for an upcoming move.

What I didn’t realize at the time was how much my health would improve by nixing the harsh chemicals and sticking to just a handful of simple ingredients to keep my home looking its best.

My frequent headaches became a thing of the past, and my missing periods were suddenly back and on schedule.

With more demand than ever now for nontoxic alternatives to the array of products that we routinely use, I’m noticing a handful of companies cropping up to sell an overcomplicated solution at an inflated price.

A bundle of concentrate solution and some pre-labeled plastic bottles that costs $75 is just asinine. So is $40 laundry detergent.

That’s precisely why I’m about to share my tried-and-true recipes for everything.

You can make all of them with just some white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, an essential oil of your choice, castile soap, baking soda, and water. The best part is that you can make multiple batches of each recipe for just under $30 with these simple yet powerful ingredients.
